By Lukman Mumin, Accra

Budding Ghanaian talent Richmond Gyamfi has joined Danish outfit Aarhus Gymnastikforening.

The teen sensation signed a five-year deal to join AGF from Hobro IF ahead of the upcoming season.

“It is a big day for me and I am proud that I can now switch to a big club like AGF. I feel ready to take the next step in Danish football and AGF is the right place for me to continue my development,” he said.

“Now I am looking forward to meeting my new teammates and taking part in the start-up,” he added.

Gyamfi will join his new teammates in the coming days as pre-season begins ahead of the new campaign.

The talented forward netted three goals and delivered four assists in ten matches during his short spell at Hobro.

“Richmond fits into our “style of play”.

He is fast, has good physicality and is a skilled finisher. He gives us some x-factor and has a forwardness to his game that is unusual and impressive and we look forward to bringing him into the team,’ said Sports Manager of AGF, Stig Inge Bjarnebye.

“We have followed him intensely in the spring and are very happy to be able to welcome him to AGF, where he can now continue his positive development in our framework and release his talent even more.”
