Zedmultimedia staff complete fire safety training

In a proactive move to prioritize workplace safety, management and staff members of Zion Hill Multimedia (Zedmultimedia), participated in a comprehensive fire safety training session
Zedmultimedia encompasses The New Finder Newspaper, Zed 101.9fm, Zedonline, ZedTech, Zed TV, and Zion Hill International School.
Led by Assistant Divisional Officer 1 (ADO1), Bless Ankudey, the training aimed to equip management and staff with essential skills and knowledge to effectively handle fire emergencies in the workplace.
Participants were educated on the causes of both domestic and workplace fires and instructed on safe methods for extinguishing them.
Additionally, they were briefed on the proper procedures for contacting authorities in the event of a fire outbreak.
One of the highlights of the training was a practical fire drill, during which staff members were actively involved in extinguishing fires using carbon dioxide (CO2) and dry powder extinguishers.
This hands-on experience provided invaluable insights into fire safety protocols and preparedness measures.
Environmental Safety Consultant, Godfred Allotey, emphasized the importance of taking the lessons seriously, emphasizing that adherence to fire safety protocols is essential for ensuring a safe working environment.
