Man City eye January move for Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo

Manchester City is gearing up to make a move for Bournemouth’s Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo in January, with a £65 million release clause in his contract becoming active. Semenyo has been in top form, scoring six goals and providing three assists in 13 matches this season. City, who are looking to strengthen their attack, sees Semenyo as a great fit, given his versatility and ability to play on both wings and up front.
Other top clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham, are also interested in Semenyo, but City’s financial muscle might give them an edge. Liverpool’s sporting director, Richard Hughes, who signed Semenyo for Bournemouth, could be a factor in the Reds’ favor, though they’ve spent over £400 million in the summer and might prioritize other positions.
Semenyo’s impressive performances have caught the attention of several top clubs, and he could be at the center of a transfer bidding war in January.
