Abochi Unveils New Album

Ghanaian musician Abochi says he is taking a carefully planned approach to his music career following the release of his debut album, “OKAYSIONS”, which is designed to provide songs for different moments and celebrations in life.
The versatile singer, songwriter and self-taught beat producer, known for hit songs including “Bestie” and “Prison Break”, disclosed this in an exclusive interview with The New Finder.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with THE NEW FINDER, Abochi said the 10-track album, released in October 2025, represents a major milestone in his career and features collaborations with some of Ghana’s notable musicians, including Kofi Kinaata, Okyeame Kwame, AK Songstress, Kwaku Bany and Dr Cryme.
He explained that the concept behind the album was to create music that connects with listeners during important occasions.
“Every occasional song you need, you can find on the album,” Abochi said, describing the project as a collection that caters to different celebrations and life experiences.
The musician revealed that he deliberately took his time to produce the album rather than releasing songs frequently, allowing him to focus on quality and creativity.
“So I’ve decided to really take my time to produce the album,” he said, adding that this approach influenced his limited releases after the album’s launch.
Abochi said he has so far released one song this year titled “Beyond the Return”, which is available on major streaming platforms. He also disclosed plans to release another single featuring rapper Medikal later this year.
The singer described the upcoming collaboration as an exciting project and expressed confidence that it would connect strongly with music lovers.
He encouraged fans to listen to “Beyond the Return” and watch its official music video on YouTube, highlighting the song as one of his recent creative works.
Abochi continues to build his reputation in Ghana’s music industry with a blend of songwriting, vocal ability and production skills, while expanding his catalogue with projects aimed at reaching audiences across different occasions and experiences.
