Content Creator Shares Drive Behind Viral ‘What’s Next’ Videos

Ghanaian content creator Mr What’s Next has opened up about the motivation behind his viral online videos, explaining how ambition, creativity and audience engagement continue to shape his journey.

Speaking in a recent interview on Highway 10.19 on ZED FM, the TikTok personality said his ultimate goal is to build a strong personal brand and eventually become a brand ambassador.

“The one thing that keeps pushing me is that I want to become a brand, like a brand ambassador one day. That’s why every day I keep going,” he said.

Mr What’s Next, known for his unusual and often surprising video concepts, noted that reactions from fans, especially in the form of comments, play a significant role in inspiring his content.

“I see comments from people every day. When I say ‘what’s next,’ people start suggesting things like petrol or DDT. We all know these are not things you can drink, but people still comment them,” he explained.

According to him, these suggestions, though unrealistic, have become part of the creative process, pushing him to think outside the box and deliver content that captures attention.

“Those comments make you think. You have to come up with something that keeps people talking and guessing,” he said.

Addressing concerns raised by viewers about one of his viral videos, Mr What’s Next clarified a controversial scene in which he appeared to prepare a drink labelled as petrol.

In the video, he was seen attaching a label to a beverage, leading some viewers to question whether the substance was real.

“I did it that way so that people would think it was real. That’s what they love, something that makes them wonder if it’s true or not,” he explained.

He emphasised that the intent behind such content is purely for entertainment and engagement, not to promote harmful behaviour.

Mr What’s Next added that platforms like TikTok have provided him with the space to express his creativity and connect with a wide audience.

His story reflects a broader human drive, the desire to grow, to be recognised, and to turn passion into opportunity through persistence and innovation.
