Joseph Paintsil eyes second LA Galaxy trophy in Campeones Cup final

Joseph Paintsil has been boosted by his hat-trick performance for Los Angeles Galaxy ahead of their game against Toluca in the Campeones Cup final.
The in-form Ghanaian, who scored a treble against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, is expected to lead the line for the MLS champions when they host the Mexican side on Wednesday.
Paintsil is hoping to win his second title with LA Galaxy and believes the game against Toluca comes at the right time.
“Yeah, it also adds confidence to my game, but I also have the confidence to play these kinds of games, like the Campeones Cup match. It is something I have been waiting for and I will give everything,” he said.
“I think this hat-trick really boosts my confidence. I will take that into the game on Wednesday, give everything, and hope the team does the same. Then we will just see what happens,” he added.
Paintsil has scored 13 goals and provided three assists across all competitions for LA Galaxy this season.
