Real Oviedo’s playmaker Kwasi Sibo aims for Champions League

Real Oviedo midfielder Kwasi Sibo has expressed his ambition to one day feature in the UEFA Champions League with the Spanish side.
The Ghana international was instrumental in Oviedo’s promotion to La Liga last season and has quickly established himself as a key figure in the team’s midfield.
Despite making just four appearances so far this campaign, Sibo says he is determined to help the club achieve greater heights.
“It’s tough in La Liga, but I like it there because they treat me like a king,” he told Graphic Sports.
“We’re working hard to stay up, but one of my biggest ambitions is to play in the UEFA Champions League.”
“Everything happens for a reason, and I believe I have the power to change situations,” he added.
Oviedo are currently 17th on the La Liga table with three points from their opening five matches.
Sibo will be looking to inspire a strong performance when the Asturian side welcome Barcelona to the Estadio Carlos Tartiere on Thursday.
