I’m Ghana’s most humble musician – King Paluta

By Samuella Antwi
Ghanaian rapper and singer King Paluta has proclaimed himself the humblest musician in the country following the release of his latest single, ‘La Vida Loca.’
The declaration came after a fan on social media praised the new track but suggested Paluta could become “one of Ghana’s greatest musicians if he humbles himself.”
In response, the ‘Aseda’ hitmaker asserted on X (formerly Twitter): “I am the most humble musician in Ghana, you just don’t know.”
Paluta’s comment has reignited public debate about his persona, with many recalling past incidents that placed his image under scrutiny.
In June 2025, the musician received backlash after being spotted exchanging heated words with a fan during a live performance. More recently, he reportedly hurled insults at a guest during the ‘All White Boat Party’ in London.
Despite these controversies, King Paluta has demonstrated consistency in his music career, releasing a string of chart-topping singles that have cemented his place in Ghana’s music industry.
