National Service postings to be released November 1

The Acting Executive Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), Ruth Seddoh, has assured prospective national service personnel that their postings will be released on 1 November 2025.
Speaking in a media interview, Ms Seddoh urged all eligible personnel to remain calm as the Authority finalises ongoing reviews of its systems.
“The transition team has been put in place and the framework for the new system has been set up… I can assure prospective personnel to calm down, as by 1 November, the posting will be done,” she said.
Her assurance comes after months of uncertainty among more than 150,000 prospective service personnel, following the suspension of the NSA’s Central Management System (CMS) in June by the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment over integrity concerns.
The suspension stalled this year’s postings and heightened anxiety among graduates awaiting placement.
On 18 June, President John Mahama directed the indefinite suspension of the CMS to pave the way for a comprehensive technical and forensic audit.
The audit has since resulted in administrative shake-ups at the Authority, including the reassignment of former Acting Director, Felix Gyamfi, to the Ministry of Finance.
