Production quality remains unchanged — Dzata Cement assures customers

Dzata Cement Limited has taken steps to protect its reputation and reassure customers following the circulation of a viral video alleging that its products are of inferior quality.

The company has firmly rejected the claims, clarifying that the incident was the result of criminal tampering and not a reflection of Dzata Cement’s production standards.

In a statement, management explained that fraudsters had devised a scheme to exploit the brand’s market credibility by manipulating its packaging.

According to the company, genuine Dzata Cement bags were opened, refilled with substandard cement and resealed for resale to unsuspecting buyers.

Law enforcement agencies have since intervened, leading to the arrest of the culprits involved, with investigations currently underway.

“We want to assure our customers and partners that Dzata Cement’s production quality remains unchanged. Every bag we manufacture undergoes strict quality control at our factory. The problem is criminal tampering, not Dzata’s product quality,” the company stressed.

Dzata Cement emphasised that its products meet stringent quality standards at every stage of production and that its brand remains synonymous with durability, strength and reliability in Ghana’s construction sector.

Protecting Consumers

To further protect customers, the company has urged the public to purchase Dzata Cement only from authorised distributors and sales outlets. Buyers are also encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious or tampered bags through Dzata Cement’s hotline.

The company assured that it is working closely with industry stakeholders and security agencies to stamp out counterfeiting, which not only deceives consumers but also undermines trust in the wider cement industry.

“Together with industry stakeholders, we remain committed to delivering the highest-quality cement, proudly made in Ghana, while fighting against fraud that hurts customers and the industry at large,” the statement added.
