Kimathi Rawlings weds in stunning ceremony
Kimathi Rawlings, the only son of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings and former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings, tied the knot in a beautifully organized wedding ceremony attended by family, friends, and prominent dignitaries.
A short video circulating on social media captured the joyous atmosphere as Kimathi, dressed in a regal white agbada, stood beside his elegant bride following their church wedding service.
The couple exchanged pleasantries with guests and relatives, radiating happiness throughout the occasion.
The celebration continued at the reception, where the newlyweds took to the dance floor to KiDi’s popular hit, ‘Odo.’
Kimathi charmed guests with his vibrant dance moves, drawing cheers and applause from the audience.
Kimathi is the youngest of four children born to the iconic political couple.
He was named after Kenyan freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi, a symbol of resistance and integrity, in honor of his father’s Pan-African ideals.
