“That mother you people have been talking about… I don’t think you people have bought cars for your mother before. I’ve bought cars for my mother; I’ve done things for my mother. It’s just that in this life, you win some and you lose some,” he declared.

“The number of cars I’ve bought for my mother—it’s just that we didn’t show it on the Internet, but those who know, know,” Shatta Wale said. “The beautiful places I have gotten for my mother to rest her head—you people don’t know about them.”
His comments come on the heels of a recent public spat with popular content creator Kwadwo Sheldon. The two were embroiled in a social media exchange after Shatta Wale offered to assist Sheldon, whose home in Pantang was affected by severe flooding following recent rains.
In a surprising twist, Sheldon publicly rejected the offer and took a swipe at the dancehall artist, urging him instead to support his own mother, whom he accused of being sidelined and neglected. The statement triggered widespread speculation online, prompting Shatta Wale to set the record straight.
