Youth Service donates GH₵10,000 towards purchase of manse

THE Young People’s Service of the Bethel Methodist Church, New Aplaku, has donated GH¢10,000 towards the purchase of a manse for their society.
The manse, which will serve as a residence for the society’s minister, has been a long-standing need for the church.
Their efforts culminated in a grand donation of GH¢10,000, received by the society’s leadership during their 2024 Annual Harvest.
The occasion was marked with joy, gratitude, and a sense of accomplishment.
Coordinator of the Young People’s Service, Bro. Prince Debra-Hammond, expressed his deep satisfaction with the successful fundraising efforts adding that the manse will not only serve as a residence but will also symbolize the unity and commitment of the congregation.
“We are thrilled to see this project come to fruition and to provide a home for our minister” he added.
He further emphasized that the donation is not just about financial support but about the spirit of giving and the collective effort of the young people who have worked tirelessly to make the project successful.
“It also represents our commitment to enhancing the welfare of our church and ensuring that our minister has a comfortable and stable environment from which to serve.” he added.
The Supertendent Minister of the New Aplaku Circuit, the Very Rev. James Kwesi Kwakye, along with Society Steward, Bro. Derrick Agyei Gyamfi, accepted the donation with heartfelt appreciation.
“This generous contribution is a testament to the dedication of our Young People’s Service and the entire church community”, Rev. Kwakye said. The donation was presented by the Coordinator of the Young People’s Service, Bro Prince Debra-Hammond and was received by the Supertendent Minister of the New Aplaku Circuit, The Very Rev. James Kwesi Kwakye assisted by the Society Steward, Bro. Derrick Agyei Gyamfi.
