Vision FC eyes Ghana Premier League title ahead of debut season

Coach of newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side, Vision FC, Nana Kweku Agyemang has declared hs club’s ambition of winning the topflight league.
Vision FC earned promotion to the Ghana Premier League for the first time after winning Zone Three of the Division One League last season.
Nana Agyemang, who was confirmed coach of the club before their pre-season exercises started, believes the Accra-based team has what it takes to challenge for the title.
Vision will compete with the likes of traditional powerhouses Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.
“We are in the Ghana Premier League to compete and win the trophy,” Agyemang told Asempa FM.
“Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are strong teams, but we have been working hard and are convinced of our quality. We may be a new team, but we are ready to compete and make a name for ourselves.”
He guided Vision FC to victory in the Division One League Super League by defeating Okwawu United on Sunday, August 11, 2024. The 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season kicks off on September 6, with Vision FC set to host Berekum Chelsea in their opening match.
