BDAC strengthens Ghana, India business relations

BDAC Ghana Limited, a strategic consulting and advisory company, has forged a significant partnership with the India Africa Trade Council (IATC) aimed at bolstering business relations between the two entities and fostering reciprocal cooperation between India and Ghana.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between BDAC Ghana Limited and IATC seeks to identify business opportunities in various sectors of the Ghanaian economy, as well as across Africa, facilitating exploration of these opportunities by their respective clients.
The signing ceremony took place in Accra on Monday, March 11, 2024, marking the culmination of a working visit by a 12-member delegation from IATC to Ghana.
BDAC Ghana Limited and its affiliate PMK Ltd, an Africa-focused finance PR and strategic partnerships consultancy, hosted the delegation.
Mr. Ammishaddai Ofori, CEO of BDAC Ghana Limited, highlighted the consultancy’s extensive experience working across multiple sectors and its capacity to support IATC and its clients in conducting business in Ghana.
Dr. Chetna Ilpate, the Trade Commissioner of IATC, commended BDAC Ghana Limited and PMK for their professionalism and warm reception. The delegation expressed strong interest in investing in key sectors of the Ghanaian economy, including health and pharmaceuticals, agro-processing, tourism, mining, and energy.
Solomon Potakey, Senior Partner for Banking and Strategic Partnerships at PMK, underscored the vast opportunities and insights presented by the Ghanaian team across all sectors to the IATC delegation.
As part of their visit, the IATC delegation held discussions with key Ghanaian government officials, including Dr. Okoe Boye, the Minister of Health Designate, and former Deputy Minister for Energy and Minister-designate for Tourism, Andrew Agyapa Mercer, and Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Michael Okyere Baafi.
The partnership between BDAC Ghana Limited and IATC aims to leverage expertise and resources to facilitate trade and business relations between India and Ghana, ultimately fostering economic growth and prosperity in both countries.
