Fans urge Black Queens to score more goals against Zambia

Many football enthusiasts and officials of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) have stressed the need for the Black Queens to avoid complacency and go all out to score at least four or six goals in the first leg.

Under the guidance of Coach Nora, the current Black Queens have demonstrated promise by securing victories in all other qualifying matches, showcasing their determination to succeed.
Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah, President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), expressed optimism about Ghana’s representation in football at the Olympics, particularly highlighting the impressive performance of the Black Queens in recent months.
Isaac Duah, Chief de Mission (CDM) of Team Ghana to Paris 2024, emphasized the importance of the Black Queens’ qualification, noting that it would provide an exciting opportunity for fans to support the team in Paris, France, during the Games.
Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, Communications Director of the GOC, debunked misconceptions about the state of Ghanaian football, citing the success of Futsal, the Black Queens, and Beach Soccer despite limited investment and motivation for players.
He emphasized the importance of the Black Queens securing victories against Zambia to demonstrate the resilience of Ghanaian football.
Sammy Heywood Okine, the Deputy Communications Director and former Press Attache for Team Ghana at the last Olympic Games in Tokyo, expressed confidence in the Black Queens’ capabilities.
He optimistically predicted that they would defeat Zambia by more than three goals in the first leg and clinch another victory in Zambia, further solidifying their qualification chances.
