The launch event, which took place in Accra, showcased the vehicle’s outstanding features and its promise of quality, fuel efficiency, and affordability.
Jihad Hijazi, Chief Executive of Premium Motors, described the Taliant as more than just a mode of transportation; he called it a promise to Ghanaian consumers.
Unlike many other vehicles in its category with 1.0L engines, the Renault Taliant boasts impressive specifications, including a 120hp engine and a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) for a smooth and seamless driving experience.
Hijazi explained that customer feedback played a crucial role in the development of the Taliant.
As the cost of fuel has become a growing concern for consumers, the demand for more fuel-efficient vehicles in the 1.0L to 1.2L range has been on the rise.
He said, “We don’t know of any vehicle in its segment that comes with a 1.0L, 3-cylinder engine. Coupled with the CVT automatic transmission, it presents an exciting option for many of our clients.”
The Renault Taliant is positioned to serve a diverse range of customers, including young students at the university level, families, and organizations.
Its exceptional fuel efficiency makes it an attractive choice for those looking to minimize their fuel expenses without compromising on quality.
The Taliant is available in two trims: the light trim and the zen trim, both of which exude an ambiance of comfort.
Key features include an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay compatibility, a thoughtfully designed interior, spacious trunk capacity, a convenient phone holder, USB port, an armrest, and an electric handbrake.
Premium Motors offers the Renault Taliant at a competitive price range, with models currently selling between $18,500 and $24,000.
Additionally, the company provides credit facilities for eligible clients, making the Taliant an even more accessible choice for Ghanaian consumers.
