Funny Face granted GH₵120K bail

Popular Ghanaian comedian Funny Face has been granted bail following a near-fatal accident in Kasoa.

The incident, which occurred on Sunday, March 24, 2023, around 8 pm, involved Funny Face’s car striking several pedestrians at Kasoa’s Kakraba Junction, resulting in injuries to three people.

After the accident, Funny Face was promptly arrested and held in police custody.

Subsequently, on March 26, 2024, the “Cow & Chicken” actor appeared in court at the Kasoa-Akweley District Court, where he was remanded for two weeks pending further investigation.

However, Funny Face was yesterday granted bail in the sum of GH₵120,000 with two sureties.

This decision allows him to remain free while the investigation into the accident continues.

He is required to reappear in court in four weeks’ time.

The granting of bail provides some relief for Funny Face, who has faced legal proceedings following the accident.
