Dancehall star Shatta Wale has officially handed over full reproduction rights and royalties for his hit collaborations ‘Steve Wonder’ and ‘H.I.T (Haters in Tears)’ to Rufftown Records and singer Wendy Shay.

The announcement was confirmed by Wendy Shay in a post on X (formerly Twitter), where she expressed gratitude to Shatta Wale for what she described as a generous and empowering gesture.

Both tracks were instant fan favourites upon release, cementing Wendy Shay’s place as one of Ghana’s leading female artistes while further showcasing Shatta Wale’s collaborative reach.

By relinquishing his share of the rights and royalties, Shatta Wale has given Wendy Shay and her label the full commercial benefits of the two hits.
