Lucky Mensah spills secret to lifelong wealth

Veteran highlife musician Lucky Mensah has credited his current financial stability to strategic planning, hard work, and prudent investments made during the height of his music career.

In an exclusive interview, Lucky Mensah explained that many entertainers from his era are struggling today because they failed to prepare for life beyond the spotlight.

“Most people enjoyed the fame and money without thinking about tomorrow. I chose to invest instead,” he said.

The veteran highlife musician revealed that he made a conscious decision to channel his earnings into long-term business ventures, which now provide him with multiple streams of income.

These include a hotel, a residential apartment complex for rent, a transport business, a bakery, and an event center.

He also runs a live band group, a recording studio, and the LM Soccer Academy, which nurtures young football talents between the ages of 10 and 17 across Ghana.

A defining moment in his journey, he said, was a trip to the United Kingdom for a show. Choosing to stay for two years to work, he saved enough money to begin building projects upon returning home.

“That decision changed everything. I worked hard, saved, and came back to Ghana with a plan,” he stated.

The veteran highlife musician also acknowledged the vital role his wife played in his success. He expressed deep appreciation for her support during the most challenging periods of their journey.

He recounted how she agreed to live with him in an uncompleted house in an undeveloped area—now known as “Lucky Mensah”—while they built their dream.

“If my wife hadn’t believed in the vision and stood by me, we wouldn’t have come this far,” he remarked.
