Ghana’s Enoch Boateng among top 50 Global Wedding Photographers
Ghana’s creative industry has earned another prestigious global accolade as celebrated photographer and entrepreneur Enoch Boateng, CEO of Focus and Blur, has been named among the Top 50 Global Wedding Photographers in the 2025 Destination Wedding Planners (DWP) Insider Powerlist.
The photographer is the only Ghanaian to appear on this year’s list, which honors outstanding visual artists shaping the future of luxury wedding photography and storytelling worldwide.
Compiled annually by one of the most influential platforms in the destination wedding industry, the DWP Insider Powerlist highlights professionals whose creative innovation, influence, and global reach set them apart. The photographer’s inclusion reflects not only his artistic excellence but also his growing impact as a cultural ambassador for Ghanaian visual arts on the world stage.
From Ghana to the Global Stage
After starting his career in marketing and design, Mr. Boateng founded Focus and Blur in 2016. What began as a personal passion has since grown into one of Ghana’s most recognized photography and videography brands, known for its powerful fusion of culture, storytelling, and cinematic flair.
Over the years, his work has earned him numerous accolades:
- He was named Best Event Photographer at the Ghana Event Industry Awards three years in a row.
- In 2021, he won Photography Influencer of the Year at the Pulse Influencer Awards.
- In 2022, he received the Photographer of the Year title at the EAwards.
Beyond awards, Boateng has garnered international recognition through exhibitions in Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, where his work celebrating Ghanaian wedding traditions has been showcased to wide acclaim. He has also represented Ghanaian creatives at global forums, including Facebook’s Content Creator Summit and Cortona on the Move, a prestigious European photography festival.
