Yaw Yeboah scores first LAFC goal in thumping victory over Seattle Sounders

Ghanaian winger Yaw Yeboah came off the bench to net his first goal for Los Angeles FC as they defeated the Seattle Sounders 4-0 in Major League Soccer on Thursday morning.
The former Columbus Crew player replaced Frankie Amaya in the 82nd minute and made an instant impact by firing home four minutes later.
Yeboah received a pass from Olivier Giroud in the box, cut onto his weaker foot to beat his marker, and then finished brilliantly.
In a thrilling encounter at BMO Stadium, the hosts opened the scoring through Cengiz Under in the first half.
After the break, Jeremy Ebobisse doubled the advantage before Gabon forward Denis Bouanga extended the lead with ten minutes remaining.
Yeboah sealed the victory with four minutes left as the former champions and Western Conference heavyweights continued their rich run of form. The 26-year-old Ghanaian has made seven appearances for LAFC and now has one goal to his name. He joined the club at the start of the 2025 campaign following his departure from Columbus Crew.
