Since its inception in August 2009, Access Bank (Ghana) Plc has established itself as a trailblazer in the industry, consistently introducing innovative initiatives that have redefined banking in Ghana. The bank’s remarkable journey includes a series of firsts that underscore its leadership and forward-thinking approach.
Among its notable achievements, Access Bank (Ghana) Plc made history in 2017 by becoming the first bank of Nigerian heritage to be listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. This landmark event demonstrated the bank’s strong performance and commitment to transparency and corporate governance.
The bank has also been a pioneer in gender-focused financial services. It was the first to introduce Women Banking in Ghana, offering tailored financial solutions designed to empower women entrepreneurs and professionals.
