GFA sanctions T & A Stadium for friendly between Medeama and Kotoko

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has granted approval for a high-profile friendly match between Medeama SC and Asante Kotoko to mark the inauguration of the new state-of-the-art TNA Stadium.

The one-off match, which comes off on Friday August 16 2024, will serve as the official commissioning of the newly constructed Stadium.

The Ghana Football Association is firm in its belief that the two Premier League Clubs shall abide by the relevant GFA Regulations to ensure a successful match and give a befitting opening to the ultra modern 10,400-seater Stadium.

Playing Kotoko, a famous Ghanaian football club, makes everything more thrilling for the event.

Ghanaian Premier League giants’ replace Hearts of Oak who were initially approached for this forthcoming fixture, but the Phobians failed to confirm their participation.

Supporters are eager to witness a top-quality game between two elite Ghanaian clubs.
