CAF Champions League campaigners FC Samartex sign midfielder Solomon Adjei

Ghana Premier League champions, FC Samartex have secured the services of talented midfielder Solomon Adjei ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The attacking midfielder moves to the Samreboi-based club on a three-year deal after parting ways with Division One side Okwahu United.
Adjei is expected to add creativity to the midfield of Samartex as they prepare ahead of the defence of their title while also representing Ghana in Africa.
“We are delighted to unveil highly-skilled Solomon Adjei as our new attacking midfielder on a three-year deal. Adjei brings with him a stunning talent, having previously played for Division One side, Okwahu United.
His arrival adds a new dimension to our team,” wrote the club, announcing his arrival.
The highly-rated midfielder has joined his teammates for pre-season as the Timbers prepare for the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
FC Samartex 1996 will face Cameroonian champions Victoria United in the first round of the continental championship.
Adjei becomes the club’s fourth signing in the transfer window joining Isaac Baffoe, Akwasi Sarpong and Mohammed Alhassan Mankuyeli.
