Black Stars forward Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has immediately resumed pre-season with Leicester City after his permanent switch to the Premier League returnees.
Issahaku joined the Foxes on a permanent deal after signing a five-year deal following the expiration of his loan deal.
The 20-year-old winger reunited with his teammates as preparation began under new manager Steve Cooper.
Leicester City will face Shrewsbury Town, Italian outfit Palermo, Augsburg of Germany and France’s RC Lens in pre-season friendlies.
The talented youngster is expected to play a key role for Leicester in the upcoming campaign following his impressive first stint at the King Power Stadium.
Last season, Issahaku made a 20-goal contribution to help the 2016 English champions make a swift return to the topflight.
“For me, [to win promotion] was amazing,” said Issahaku. “It felt so good and it was one of the best moments in my career. I feel so good and I just want to keep going.
“I hope that this season goes well as well. They’re amazing teammates.
“Everyone at the Club was giving energy to the team and it felt so good.
“I feel so proud. For me, I take it as the beginning. I’m just getting started.”
