The University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC) came alive as WatsUp On Campus 2026 staged an electrifying stop on its campus tour, headlined by Ghanaian music star Stonebwoy in the institution’s first-ever official Artiste Night.
The event drew a massive student turnout, transforming the university campus into a vibrant centre of music, culture, and youthful energy. From the opening acts to the final performance, the atmosphere remained charged as students filled the venue to capacity, singing along and celebrating every moment.
The highlight of the night came when Stonebwoy mounted the stage, triggering wild excitement across the crowd. Students sang word-for-word as the award-winning artiste delivered a powerful set of hit songs, supported by his signature stagecraft and energetic performance style.
His performance created a strong connection with the audience, sustaining high energy levels throughout his set and drawing some of the loudest cheers of the night.
The event also featured a strong lineup of DJs and MCs who kept the momentum going from start to finish. WatsUp TV’s official female DJ, DJ Raya, known as Queen Raya, delivered a high-energy set featuring Amapiano, Afrobeats, hiplife, and popular party anthems that kept students on their feet.
DJ Sky followed with a seamless blend of trending sounds and Ghanaian classics, while Android DJ maintained the excitement with a dynamic set that further energized the crowd.
On the microphone, MC Tokyo and MC Nana King played key roles in engaging the audience, directing crowd interaction, and ensuring the smooth flow of the programme. Their performances were complemented by hype man Tim Jeezy, who kept the atmosphere charged with constant energy.
Organisers say the UniMAC edition marks another milestone for WatsUp On Campus, which continues to position itself as one of Ghana’s leading youth entertainment platforms. The initiative is designed to bring top-tier entertainment directly to tertiary institutions while promoting youth culture and engagement.
The event was powered by WatsUp Agency with support from sponsors including Red Bull Energy Drink, Club Shandy, Red Rooster, Lilo Long Grain Rice, and Hifi Filter. Media and strategic partners included WatsUp TV and The Living Stone Foundation.
