Travel and Tours Agency Partners Ghana Beverage Awards

Travel and tours firm KSACS Travel and Tours has partnered the 10th edition of the Ghana Beverage Awards (GBA), in a move aimed at deepening the connection between Ghana’s tourism, hospitality, and beverage industries.
The milestone event, held on April 18, 2026, at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and corporate executives under the theme “A Toast to 10,” marking a decade of recognising excellence within the beverage sector.
Chief Executive Officer of KSACS Travel and Tours, Emmanuel Sackey, described the partnership as a strategic alignment with platforms that shape visitor experience and elevate industry standards.
“Tourism today is driven by experience, and beverages play a central role in how people connect with a destination,” he said. “This partnership allows us to support a platform that not only recognises excellence but also enhances Ghana’s overall hospitality offering.”
According to Sackey, the relationship between tourism and beverages is increasingly significant, as travellers seek immersive and culturally rich experiences that go beyond sightseeing.
“Every travel experience is built on moments, and often those moments are defined by what people eat and drink,” he noted. “Supporting the Ghana Beverage Awards is our way of contributing to an ecosystem that values quality, culture, and memorable experiences.”
The synergy between the two sectors was also highlighted by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), which emphasised the role of the beverage industry in shaping Ghana’s global tourism appeal.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the GTA, Ben Anane Nsiah, described the beverage sector as a key pillar of the country’s hospitality and cultural identity.
“The beverage industry plays a significant role in defining Ghana’s tourism experience,” he said. “It contributes to how visitors perceive our culture and hospitality, making partnerships like this essential for national development.”
The highlight of the evening was the announcement of top honours across various categories. Malta Guinness was named Product of the Year, while Bel Aqua secured Water of the Year.
Additionally, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited received the prestigious Legacy Award in recognition of its consistent excellence and multiple wins over the past decade.
Organised by Global Media Alliance, the Ghana Beverage Awards has, over the last ten years, evolved into a credible platform that promotes innovation, drives industry standards, and strengthens consumer confidence in beverage brands.
Industry observers note that partnerships such as this signal a growing recognition of the interconnected nature of tourism and lifestyle sectors, particularly in an era where experience-driven travel continues to shape global trends.
For KSACS Travel and Tours, the collaboration represents more than sponsorship—it reflects a long-term commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance Ghana’s reputation as a destination where culture, hospitality, and quality experiences intersect.
