Rema and KiDi Join Star-Studded Lineup for AfroFuture Ghana 2025

The Culture Management Group (CMG), organizers of the AfroFuture festival, has announced the second wave of performers for AfroFuture Ghana 2025, scheduled for December 28–29 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra. The festival, powered by Afreximbank and supported by Martell, promises a vibrant showcase of African music, art, fashion, food, and cultural immersion.

Leading the newly confirmed acts is Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Rema, whose global influence continues to shape the genre’s evolution. He is joined by Ghanaian star KiDi, celebrated for his fusion of highlife and Afropop. The announcement also highlights an expanded roster of international DJs, including Skyla Tylaa, DJ L.A.J, DJ RBnice, Flygerian, DJ Mohogany, Afrolektra, TMSKDJ, and DJ Oreo, and MCs such as MC Lola, Kojo Manuel, Princess AJ, and Michael Nichols.

This second wave of talent builds on the festival’s initial lineup, which features Asake, TxC, Moliy, King Paluta, Mavo, and sets by Obi’s House, ADDJ, DJ Loft, and K-Dwawg & EZPass, strengthening AfroFuture’s reputation as one of the year’s most anticipated cultural celebrations.

AfroFuture CEO and Co-Founder Abdul Karim Abdullah said the additions reflect the festival’s mission “to showcase the depth, range, and innovation of African artistry.” He noted that the 2025 edition continues the festival’s exploration of African Nostalgia, celebrating the continent’s cultural memory while highlighting its evolving global influence.

Beyond musical performances, AfroFuture Ghana 2025 will feature a wide range of cultural programming and installations. Attendees can expect immersive on-field activations, the AfroFuture Foundation x Black Health Connect Community Fair, a curated wellness series, the Future Makers masterclass sessions, and various panels, book talks, and film screenings. Fashion Night Out at Nubuke will return with more than 15 designers interpreting the African Nostalgia theme.

The festival grounds will host the Martell immersive experience, the Diaspora Den marketplace, the AfroFuture Art Gallery, a fashion installation by Ketthem & Ajabeng, and a custom graffiti mural by artist Moh Awudu. Additional brand activations from partners including 1xBet, Instax, Coca-Cola, and Red Bull will complement a vendor village featuring 35 food, art, and fashion stalls.
