Drake Sets Record with 300 Spotify Hits
Canadian rapper and global music star Drake has become the first artist in Spotify history to have 300 songs surpass 100 million streams, further cementing his dominance in the streaming era.
The milestone was reached on February 17, 2026, after “Mine,” his collaboration with Beyoncé, crossed the 100-million-stream mark on Spotify. The achievement extends Drake’s longstanding record on the platform and places him ahead of other streaming heavyweights such as Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, and Justin Bieber.
Unlike records driven by a single blockbuster hit, Drake’s latest feat reflects the depth of his catalogue. While “One Dance” has surpassed four billion streams and “God’s Plan” remains one of Spotify’s biggest rap records, the 300-song mark highlights sustained global listening across albums, collaborations and older releases.
Tracks from his 2011 album Take Care continue to contribute significantly, with the title track surpassing 700 million streams. More recent releases are also performing strongly. “NOKIA,” his 2025 collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR, has exceeded 500 million streams, while songs such as “Nonstop” and “Jimmy Cooks” still average over 200,000 daily streams years after their debut.
Drake’s older albums, including Views (2016), Scorpion (2018), and Certified Lover Boy (2021), each continue to generate more than two million streams daily. Notably, despite not releasing a solo studio album in 2025, his catalogue amassed one billion streams in the first 20 days of 2026 alone, driven largely by existing material.
Industry analysts say the record underscores how streaming rewards consistency and catalogue strength over short-term commercial bursts. Drake’s blend of rap, R&B and pop, coupled with frequent collaborations and expansive tracklists, has helped sustain his global appeal for more than a decade.
His forthcoming solo album, ICEMAN, expected later in 2026 via OVO Sound and Republic Records, could push his record even further in an industry increasingly defined by streaming performance.
