Abeiku Santana Welcomes Mr Eazi’s $2m Event Centre Investment Plan

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Abeiku Santana, has expressed appreciation to Nigerian musician and entrepreneur Mr Eazi for his pledge to invest $2 million in Ghana’s entertainment infrastructure.
Mr Eazi announced plans to build a 3,000-capacity event centre in Accra, featuring both indoor and outdoor facilities, as part of efforts to strengthen the country’s events and creative industry.
Reacting to the announcement, Abeiku Santana took to X (formerly Twitter) to welcome the initiative, revealing that preliminary engagement has already begun.
“We have reached out to Eazi, my brother, and we’re grateful to him for the call… watch out,” he wrote.
The artiste made the pledge during his performance at the Detty Rave concert in Accra on December 28, 2025, where he appealed to the Ghana Tourism Authority to support the project with land. He emphasised the importance of well-structured venues in sustaining major events and boosting Ghana’s entertainment sector.
The massive turnout at the Detty Rave festival underscored the growing demand for modern event spaces in Accra, further strengthening calls for increased investment in entertainment infrastructure across the country.
