GTA, Gold Board Launch Festive Promotion Offering Visitors a Taste of Ghana

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has partnered with the Ghana Gold Board to introduce a unique festive-season incentive that allows visitors to experience Ghana’s culture and leave with a small piece of gold. This was announced by the CEO of GTA, Marilyn Maame Efua Houadjeto.
In an interview, Ms. Houadjeto explained that the collaboration is designed to enhance the holiday experience for both local and international tourists.
“After all the fun and memories you gather in Ghana, you get to go home with gold, a small piece of gold. Gold Board and the Ghana Tourism Authority are working together to ensure visitors enjoy our food, our people, and our entertainment,” she said.
The promotion, which runs throughout December, aims to boost tourism while showcasing Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality. Under the programme, visitors can purchase gold at promotional rates as an added attraction to their festive activities.
Ms. Houadjeto encouraged tourists to enjoy Ghana’s cuisine, concerts, and cultural events while also taking advantage of the opportunity to invest in gold.
“If you’re spending on food and fun, save a little for gold and go home with something precious. Let the world know you visited the Gold Coast,” she added.
The GTA has lined up a series of events for the festive season, including concerts, food fairs and cultural exhibitions across the country.
