Guru urges youth to chase leadership dreams

Ghanaian musician and former University of Ghana SRC President Guru has signaled his intention to enter national leadership urging the youth to pursue their ambitions without fear or hesitation.

Guru emphasized that young people must not allow critics or societal limitations to define their potential.

According to him the future of the country rests in the willingness of the next generation to step forward, lead, and challenge the status quo.

“Nobody should tell you that you’re too young to lead. If you have the vision, the drive, and the discipline, go for it,” he said. “We must dream boldly and act, because Ghana needs us.”

Guru, who has enjoyed a successful career in the music industry while also maintaining an active role in student and youth advocacy, believes his move reflects a broader call for youth participation in governance.

He stated that leadership should not be reserved for a select few but opened up to dynamic new voices with fresh perspectives.

As Ghana continues to debate the role of young leaders in politics and development, Guru’s call adds to a growing chorus encouraging youth empowerment, innovation, and proactive involvement in national decision-making.
