I was meant to do this – Tinny speaks on his love for performing

Ghanaian rapper Tinny has revealed that long before fame found him, he was already in love with the stage.
From his early school days, the rapper said he knew he was born to entertain, whether through music, drama or performance.
“I was an entertainer when I was coming up as a little boy. In my school days, if I wasn’t playing the drums, I would be part of those doing play-acting. And if not, then I would be performing music,” he recalled.
Tinny explained that his passion for entertainment came naturally and eventually shaped his destiny.
“I realised that the path I had chosen was the right one. So I say big ups to God for giving me this great talent and putting me on the map,” he said.
Known for pioneering Ga rap in Ghana’s mainstream music scene, Tinny has influenced generations of artists while staying true to his authentic roots.
His reflections paint the portrait of an artist who found his purpose early and never let go of it.
“I was meant to do this. It’s not just music; it’s who I am,” the artiste added.
