Deloitte to host 2025 Africa Tax Conference November 4
Global professional services firm Deloitte has announced that it will host the 2025 Africa Tax Conference at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra from November 4 to November 5, 2025.
The high-level conference is expected to bring together leading professionals from across Africa’s public and private sectors, including representatives from business organisations, tax administrations, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, and key multilateral partners.
According to Deloitte, this year’s event will provide a timely platform for thought leadership and dialogue on Africa’s evolving tax systems, digital transformation, and global reform agenda.
Exploring Africa’s Changing Tax Landscape
In a statement announcing the event, Deloitte said the Africa Tax Conference will provide valuable insights into the dynamic and ongoing changes shaping the continent’s tax landscape amid rapid global transformation.
“As the global tax environment undergoes transformation due to digitalisation and transparency requirements, Africa is addressing these shifts with innovative solutions,” the firm said.
It added that the conference theme, “Building Resilient Tax Systems: Embracing Transparency, Digital Innovation, and Global Reform in Africa”, has been carefully selected to address the most pressing issues confronting tax authorities, policymakers, and businesses operating across the continent.
Promoting Thought Leadership and Collaboration
Deloitte noted that the two-day event will feature a series of panel discussions, keynote presentations, and interactive sessions led by Deloitte Africa’s tax experts and senior executives from partner institutions.
The discussions will centre on building robust tax systems, implementing digital tax solutions, enhancing compliance, and aligning local regulations with emerging global standards such as the OECD’s global minimum tax framework.
“This conference is therefore an opportunity to delve into dynamic topics emerging worldwide, with particular focus on how these topics shape investments and businesses in Africa, while strengthening Africa’s presence on the global tax stage,” the statement added.
