MOLIY drops new single ‘Body Go’ featuring Tyla

Ghanaian-American singer MOLIY has returned with a new single titled ‘Body Go’, featuring Grammy award-winning star Tyla.
The collaboration blends R&B, pop, amapiano, and Afrobeats into a breezy dance track designed for parties and nights out.
Produced by French producer FRNCH and Grammy award-winning producer DEE/MA, ‘Body Go’ combines pulsing amapiano bass with smooth Afrobeats melodies and an earworm chorus. The result is a celebratory record built around movement and confidence.
MOLIY said she felt the song needed “another baddie” after finishing her part and sent it straight to Tyla. The singer returned a verse quickly, and the two met for the first time in New York City.
“The first time we met, it did not even feel like the first time,” MOLIY stated.
“We laughed the whole time, and she even surprised me with flowers for my birthday. I remember hearing ‘Body Go’ for the first time and thinking, ‘Yeah, I need to be on this. It feels like you are outside with your girls, not thinking too hard, just living, just moving,’” Tyla added.
‘Body Go’ follows a landmark year for MOLIY. Her remix ‘Shake It to the Max (FLY)’ surpassed one billion streams and spent 22 weeks at number one on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart. MOLIY also became the first Ghanaian artist to perform at the BET Awards and secured major playlist placements worldwide.
Tyla arrives on the track riding her own momentum. Her hit ‘Water’ earned a GRAMMY for Best African Music Performance and helped raise international awareness of amapiano. She has also enjoyed strong chart and streaming results, along with a series of high-profile performances over the past two years.
‘Body Go’ positions both artists within the current wave of African music reaching global audiences. Its mix of continental production textures and club-ready hooks is likely to make the song a staple on summer playlists and in dance sets across the continent and beyond.
Fans can stream ‘Body Go’ now on all platforms.
