Kim Kardashian opens up on why she divorced Kanye West

Kim Kardashian has revealed the emotional and personal reasons that led her to file for divorce from rapper Kanye West after eight years of marriage.
Speaking candidly, the reality star and entrepreneur disclosed what she described as the “final straw” in their union.
“There was just a lot of things that I wouldn’t deal with. I didn’t like the feeling of someone talking bad about my kids, grandmother, aunts. All of those feelings
“If someone feels that way, then we shouldn’t be together. Airing out a lot of personal stuff,” referring to the moment West publicly revealed that Kardashian had considered having an abortion during her first pregnancy,” she said.
The Skims founder went on to say that “not feeling safe emotionally and financially” also made her reconsider the marriage.
She recalled an incident where she “would come home and [they] would have five Lamborghinis,” only for them to disappear the next day during one of West’s episodes. Kardashian, 44, said he would give them away “to all of his friends,” and it happened more than once.
“You never know what you’re going to get when you wake up, and that’s a really unsettling feeling,” she noted. “Lack of stability was a big thing,” she stated.
During the conversation, Kardashian admitted she feared being excluded from the fashion and art world that West had introduced her to after the divorce.
However, she said, “Some of [my] biggest projects came about after [I] made that decision.”
“It was the universe rewarding me and showing me that I was moving in the right direction. And I think that’s a really important, powerful thing to pay attention to the signs and pay attention to life and what happens and how you can be guided to make really good decisions. But I have no regrets. I have four amazing, beautiful babies,” she stressed.
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ alum also said her decision was rooted in wanting to set a good example for their children: North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6.
“Once my mental health starts to get affected and I can’t parent the way I need to and I can’t be present or focused, there’s got to be one of us that can. I had to save myself to be a better mum, and I think that when everyone’s older, they’ll be able to see it and understand it all,” she added.
