MobileMoney hosts annual Fintech Forum on digital finance

MobileMoney LTD is hosting its highly anticipated Annual Fintech Stakeholder Forum today, Wednesday, 15 October 2025, in Accra.
This year’s theme, “Harnessing Ghana’s Fintech Potential: Regulatory Frameworks for Digital Credit and Digital Assets”, underscores the country’s push towards a robust digital financial ecosystem.
The event brings together distinguished participants from the financial, regulatory and technology sectors to discuss Ghana’s rapidly evolving fintech landscape.
Attendees will explore strategies aimed at fostering sustainable growth in digital finance, with a strong focus on innovative solutions in digital credit and assets.
In partnership with the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) and the IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, the forum will feature presentations on Ghana’s readiness to implement emerging digital credit and asset regulations.
These insights aim to deepen the national dialogue on how best to foster innovation while ensuring consumer protection and regulatory compliance.
A key segment of the forum will feature a panel comprising notable experts: Mr Selorm Branttie, Vice President of IMANI Africa; Professor Peter Quartey of ISSER; Clara B Arthur, CEO of GHIPSS; Ethel Cofie, CEO of EDEL Technologies; and Sylvia Otuo Acheampong, Chief Products and Services Officer at MobileMoney LTD. Mrs Matilda Asante, Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, will serve as the guest speaker.
Ahead of the event, Shaibu Haruna, CEO of MobileMoney LTD, emphasised the importance of the forum in fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
