Host of Gospel Groove on Zed nominated for ‘Christian Radio Presenter of the Year’ award
The host of ZED Gospel Groove, David Darkwa Mensah (DDM), has been nominated for the ‘Christian Radio Presenter of the Year’ at the 4th edition of the Praise Achievement Awards 2025.
Celebrated for his distinctive blend of contemporary sounds and spirit-filled lyrics, DDM continues to establish himself as one of the most promising voices in gospel broadcasting.
The Praise Achievement Awards, widely recognised as one of Africa’s most credible platforms honouring gospel and inspirational music, unveiled its 2025 nominees at a ceremony in Accra.
As the voice behind ZED Gospel Groove, DDM has become a symbol of inspiration for many young believers, admired for his uplifting message and authentic sound.
This year’s awards promise fierce competition, with gospel heavyweights, choirs, and emerging talents all vying for top honours.
Scheduled for 14 December 2025 at the Perez Dome in Accra, the event will celebrate outstanding talents whose music continues to inspire faith, hope, and positive social impact.
Public voting commenced on 1 October 2025.
