Black Queens’ 24-player squad announced for England Lionesses’ friendly

‎Black Queens are set to make history as they face England’s Lionesses in their first-ever senior women’s international match on December 2, 2025, at St. Mary’s Stadium in Southampton, UK. This friendly is a crucial preparatory fixture ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), offering the Black Queens a chance to test their strength against one of the world’s top-ranked teams and reigning European champions.

‎Coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has announced a 24-player squad, blending experienced players with young talent. Notable inclusions are Anasthesia Achiaa, returning to strengthen the defense, and Benedicte Simon of Servette Geneve FC, earning her debut call-up.
