The Ministry of Transport, in partnership with Digital Eye, will host the Ghana Transport and Logistics Fair 2025, the first of its kind in the country and the West African sub-region.
The three-day event, scheduled for 22 to 24 October 2025 at the World Trade Centre in Accra, is expected to reshape the future of Ghana’s transport sector by showcasing innovation, sustainability and investment opportunities.
Held under the theme ‘Driving Innovation, Enhancing Connectivity, and Empowering Investment,’ the fair will feature exhibitions, panel discussions and high-level policy dialogues.
Attendees will be introduced to emerging technologies shaping the future of mobility, including electric vehicles, green transport solutions and advanced logistics systems. The fair aims to highlight how innovation can transform transport services and improve connectivity across the country.
President John Dramani Mahama is expected to officially open the event, reaffirming Ghana’s commitment to aligning its transport policies with global trends in sustainability and competitiveness.
The fair will serve as a platform to tackle challenges and opportunities within the transport and logistics industries, focusing on infrastructure development and improved public services.
All agencies under the Ministry of Transport will participate with exhibition stands showcasing vehicle registration processes, aviation and port innovations, and reforms in public transportation.
Stakeholders ranging from Okada associations and the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) to logistics companies, students and entrepreneurs will also be included, ensuring broad participation and dialogue across the sector.
Policy dialogues will explore regulatory frameworks, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and strategies to attract investment. The event is expected to strengthen Ghana’s position as a regional leader in transport and logistics.
According to the Ministry, the fair will provide a critical opportunity for investors to connect with sector players, laying the foundation for partnerships that could accelerate growth in Ghana’s transport and logistics industry.
The Ministry of Transport has called on the media, business community and the general public to participate in this landmark event, which it describes as a pivotal step in Ghana’s journey towards smarter, greener and more efficient transport solutions.
