Black Stars face Chad today in World Cup qualifier

The Black Stars completed their final training session on Wednesday afternoon at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno in N’Djamena, finalising preparations for today’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad.
Before travelling, the team held two training sessions at the Accra Sports Stadium as part of their build-up to the game.
With preparations now complete, head coach Otto Addo and his 22-man squad are ready for the crucial encounter.
The players available for today’s match include Antoine Semenyo, Elisha Owusu, Ibrahim Osman, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Jerry Afriyie, Joseph Anang, Christopher Bonsu Baah, Benjamin Asare, Jonas Adjetey, Ibrahim Sulemana, Jordan Ayew, Gideon Mensah, Abdul Salis Samed, Mohammed Salisu, Tariq Lamptey, Mohammed Kudus, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, Derrick Kohn, Jerome Opoku, and Caleb Yirenkyi.
Only Alexander Djiku and Joseph Paintsil will miss the match due to personal travel constraints.
Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno.
