Asante Kotoko defender Samba O’Neil has his eyes set on revenge in their upcoming Champion of Champions clash against Bibiani Gold Stars.
The Congolese defender will be in action for the Porcupine Warriors when they take on the league champions in the Super Cup on Sunday, 31 August.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Samba O’Neil stated that Asante Kotoko will be going in for revenge after recently losing 2-1 to their opponents in the GHALCA Top 4 tournament.
The defender further shared his confidence that Asante Kotoko will win the Champion of Champions showdown, although he admits the game will be tough.
“It’s going to be very, very difficult, as you know, but we are getting ready for the challenge. We are coming all out for it, so we are going to take it. They scored against us in the Top 4, so we are coming back for revenge,” Samba O’Neil said in an interview with the GFA Media Team.
This year’s Champion of Champions clash is scheduled for Sunday, 31 August, at Duns Park.
