Glorious Women on the Go donates sanitary kits, learning materials to O’Reilly SHS

The Glorious Women on the Go (GWOGO), an affiliate of the Women’s Fellowship of the Christian Worship Centre (Celebration Chapel), has extended support to students of O’Reilly Senior High School in Accra through a donation of essential items.
The package included notepads, sanitary kits, packs of restroom tissues, boxes of bottled water, and sports equipment.
The gesture forms part of GWOGO’s build-up activities towards the 2025 GWOGO Summit, scheduled for 18 October 2025 at the Christian Worship Centre, Celebration Chapel, Teshie.
Speaking at the donation ceremony, Lady Reverend Mrs Cassandra Quaye, President of GWOGO, said the initiative aligns with the group’s mission of empowering the next generation with tools for academic and personal growth.
“At GWOGO, we believe that education and character development go hand in hand. This donation is not just about books or sports equipment; it is about instilling confidence, dignity, and resilience in the next generation. Our goal is to equip young people, especially women, with the tools to dream, excel, and live purpose-driven lives,” she said.
The event was also attended by Reverend William Quaye, Resident Pastor of the Christian Worship Centre, Teshie Assembly, along with associate pastors and GWOGO committee members. Beyond the presentation, the team held an interactive dialogue session with students, focusing on career planning, personal growth, and the importance of building strong moral character.
Receiving the items on behalf of the school, Pastor Frank Crabb, Chaplain of O’Reilly Senior High, expressed profound gratitude for the intervention.
“We are truly grateful to GWOGO for this timely gesture. The notepads will enrich our academic resources, the sanitary kits will support the health needs of our girls, and the sports gear will promote physical fitness and teamwork. Beyond these items, the dialogue session with our students was deeply impactful, inspiring them to think critically about their future and moral values,” he noted.
GWOGO, through its women-led initiatives, has become a platform dedicated to empowering women, children, and communities facing diverse challenges.
The group also partners with organisations including the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., West Africa Alumnae Chapter, to extend its impact across Ghana and beyond.
Through such collaborations, GWOGO continues to deliver holistic support to families, fostering care, guidance, and resilience in society.
