BOST wins 2 prestigious Ghana Energy Awards 2023

The Bulk Energy Storage and Transportation Limited Company (BOST) emerged victorious at the seventh edition of the Ghana Energy Awards, securing two prestigious accolades that underscore its remarkable contributions to the energy sector.

BOST was honored as the Petroleum Company of the Year, a testament to its outstanding performance and impact on the nation’s energy landscape.

In addition, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BOST, Mr. Edwin Alfred Provencal, received the coveted title of Male Energy Personality of the Year, recognizing his exemplary leadership in steering the company to new heights.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Guest of Honour at the event, commended the winners, acknowledging their vital roles in advancing the energy sector—a crucial catalyst for genuine economic progress.

The recognition of BOST’s achievements aligns with the nation’s commitment to achieving ambitious energy targets outlined in the theme of the event, “Ghana’s Energy Transition Framework: Sector Institutions as Building Blocks for the 2030-2024 Targets.”

During interactions with the media on the event’s sidelines, CEO Edwin Alfred Provencal expressed his gratitude to the board and management team for their exceptional contributions to the company’s success.

He affirmed BOST’s commitment to sustained progress, emphasizing that State Owned Enterprises have the potential for profitability, as evidenced by BOST’s stellar performance in recent years.

In a further display of its excellence, BOST was also honored with the SSI Sustainability and Operational Excellence Award at the Sustainability and Social Investments Awards held on Friday, November 17, 2023.
