Lotus students visit Zed 101.9 FM studios
Zed Multimedia hosted summer school students from Lotus International on an educational tour of its facilities on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
Accompanied by their teachers, the students visited various departments as part of efforts to expose them to the inner workings of a modern media organization.
During the tour, the students received briefings on newsroom operations, observed a live studio session, and toured the Master Control Room, where they learned about broadcast coordination and transmission.
The visit gave the students a hands-on experience of the media industry, sparking excitement and curiosity about the different roles and technologies involved in multimedia production.
Teachers and Zed Multimedia staff described the tour as an insightful opportunity to inspire future careers in media and communications.
