Hugging Mahama is a ‘privilege,’ even if I don’t go to heaven—Agradaa

Evangelist Patricia Asiedu, popularly known as ‘Nana Agradaa’, sparked conversation with a light-hearted remark after her interaction with President John Dramani Mahama during the inaugural National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving.

In a moment that quickly went viral on social media, the popular evangelist said hugging the president was so meaningful to her that she considers it a lifetime privilege.

“I’ve had the privilege to hug the president. Even if I don’t go to heaven, I’m okay,” she said, laughing, after warmly greeting Mr. Mahama at the event.

The National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving brought together religious leaders, government officials, and the public to promote unity, peace, and gratitude among citizens.

The event featured prayers for the nation’s leadership and spiritual revival.
