Budding Ghanaian talent Nana Gyamfi has expressed excitement after completing a dream move to Europe to join Dutch Eredivisie outfit FC Utrecht.

The teen sensation joins the Dutch club from Ghanaian second-tier side Accra Shooting Stars, following an outstanding spell with the Achimota-based outfit.

Gyamfi has been tipped to become one of Ghana’s best prospects after displaying enormous potential during his time with Shooting Stars FC.

Although he will begin his career at Utrecht from the developmental level, he is expected to hit the ground running in the Netherlands.

“This is a dream come true! I’m so grateful to God for this opportunity, and I can’t wait to get on the pitch, showcase my skills, and be a part of this family,” he said. “Even though I have to wait a bit till I turn 18,” added Gyamfi.

Nana Gyamfi is known for his technical abilities and confidence on and off the ball, making him a key team player.

“I am a very confident player — I initiate moves, pass, I’m very quick, and I shoot with precision. I don’t let anything hold me back on the pitch, and my teammates can always expect 100% from me every single game,” continued the youngster. “With a great team supporting my personal development as well, I’m looking forward to being part of FC Utrecht and to meeting its great fans!”
