Krept & Konan Tease New Music With King Promise, Black Sherif

UK hip-hop duo Krept & Konan have touched down in Ghana for the first time, marking a significant moment in their careers and highlighting the growing creative exchange between UK rap and African music.

Speaking on Culture Daily, the duo described the visit as long overdue and expressed excitement about finally experiencing Ghana firsthand. They praised the warm reception and spoke about the strong cultural connection they feel with the country.

During the interview, Krept & Konan revealed that they are currently working on new music with two of Ghana’s biggest stars, King Promise and Black Sherif. While details remain under wraps, the duo hinted that the collaborations will blend their UK hip-hop roots with contemporary Ghanaian and African sounds.

The conversation also turned to their work beyond Ghana. Konan disclosed that the duo have recorded multiple unreleased songs with Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Burna Boy. “We’ve recorded three songs with Wizkid and two with Burna Boy, and none have been released yet,” he said, sparking excitement among fans online.

Reflecting on their journey, Krept & Konan emphasized the brotherhood at the core of their success, revealing that they have known each other since childhood. They credited that long-standing bond as a key factor in their consistency and longevity in the global music scene.
