Thomas Partey out with an injury, misses West Ham clash

Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has picked a muscle injury that ruled him out of the game against West Ham United on Saturday.
The 31-year-old has been a key player for Arsenal this season, appearing in 12 consecutive Premier League games before being sidelined with the injury.
Partey’s consistency has been a welcome relief for Arsenal fans, who saw him struggle with injuries for a large part of last season.
His excellent form had earned him praise from manager Mikel Arteta, who highlighted his stunning performance against Sporting CP in the Champions League earlier this week.
However, Partey’s injury setback saw him miss the 5-2 victory at the London Olympic Stadium against the Hammers, who were without Ghanaian talisman Mohammed Kudus.
The good news for Arsenal fans is that Partey’s injury is not expected to keep him out for long.
He could potentially return to the team for their next game against Manchester United, which promises to be a crucial clash.
